Cleaning & application

The bodywork is thoroughly cleaned and degreased. The striping or decals are carefully positioned and applied without any air bubbles.

Inspection & handover

The final result is checked for straight lines, consistent positioning and clean edges. The vehicle is then handed over.

Sponsor decals and company logos

Striping & Decals is also popular for track and racing cars that require sponsor logos and team colours. WrapBaas cuts and applies sponsor decals, number plates and team graphics to racing and track day cars. We can work from supplied vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) or design the decals entirely in-house.

Durable and removable

All striping and decals are applied using premium cast vinyl that is UV-stable and will last for 5 to 7 years without fading or peeling. The film can be removed completely without damaging the paintwork. Would you like to provide extra protection for the underlying paintwork afterwards? If so, consider Paint Protection Film (PPF) as a transparent protective layer over the original paintwork.

How much does it cost to have striping or decals fitted?
Simple decorative stripes usually cost €50–150. Custom race striping or elaborate graphic decals covering several panels cost €150–500, depending on the complexity, the number of colours and the design required. Request a no-obligation quote.
Could you also create the design for me?
Yes. If you don’t have a ready-made design, WrapBaas works with graphic designers to create the perfect design. We also work with vector files provided by you (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG).
How long does the application take?
Simple striping (decorative stripes along the side) can be applied in 1 to 2 hours. Elaborate racing graphics or full decal sets take 4 to 8 hours or more, depending on their complexity.
Are the decals removable?
Yes. All cast vinyl decals and striping can be completely removed using heat. The paintwork will remain intact provided it was in good condition before application.
How long do the decals last?
Premium cast vinyl lasts for 5 to 7 years without significant fading or peeling. Cheaper calendared vinyl lasts for 2 to 3 years; we always recommend and use cast vinyl to ensure long-lasting results.
Can I have striping applied to cars of any colour?
Yes. Striping can be applied to any body colour. We can advise you on the best colour contrasts and finishes to achieve the best visual effect on your specific car colour.
Do you also do motorbike and scooter striping?
Yes. WrapBaas also applies striping and decals to motorbikes, scooters and other vehicles. The technique is the same, but the parts are smaller and require greater precision.
